Maybe It’s In Our Roots 🌱
My mom grew up on a farm in Arkansas… and when I say farm, I mean farm. Generations of farmers, hard workers, dirt under their nails, and food on the table because they worked for it.
So I guess you could say agriculture has always been somewhere in my blood… even if it took me a little while to fully appreciate it.
When I was younger, we dabbled in gardening. I remember helping here and there, learning little bits along the way—but like most families, life was busy.
(Like it isn’t now… 🤪)
Fast forward to today…
My husband and I have been incredibly blessed to raise our family on a ranch alongside my family, and something inside me started wondering…
Was the green thumb actually hiding somewhere in my genetics?
So naturally… instead of starting small… I jumped right in.
And the truth?
I’m learning as I GROW.
(Yes… super corny 🌽… but I couldn’t resist.)
Enter… Our New Found Friends 🌱
So let’s be honest…nobody wants a hobby they constantly fail at.
Especially when you’ve already invested the time… the money… the sweat… and let’s not even talk about the emotional attachment you somehow develop to a tomato plant 😅
I quickly realized that if Byrdie and I were really going to do this… we needed more than just enthusiasm and a few trips to the local garden center.
We needed education.
We needed quality tools.
We needed someone who could help take the guesswork out of gardening.
That’s when we discovered Epic Gardening @epicgardening
And honestly…game changer!!
What I love most about Epic is that they don’t just sell products—they teach. Whether you’re growing your very first herb plant on a patio or building raised beds and dreaming of a full-blown homestead, they make gardening feel approachable, exciting, and doable.
They’ve created an entire community built around helping people succeed—from beginner-friendly videos and how-to guides to high-quality seeds, garden beds, tools, irrigation, and pretty much anything you can imagine needing along the way.
And for someone like me… learning as I grow…that confidence matters.
Because let’s be real… there’s enough trial and error in gardening already. Having a place that helps set you up for success from the beginning? That’s priceless.
Byrdie and I have learned so much from Epic, and over time, it became a brand we genuinely believe in—not because someone told us to… but because it’s become part of our journey.
So when the opportunity came to partner with them…tt was an easy YES.
